Homeless Special Projects Fund
Although Fayetteville / Cumberland County area has resources to help those less fortunate. There are still unmet needs in the community. Oftentimes providers run out of funds or have funding restrictions that do not allow them to address all of the needs in our community. This is why Cumberland County Continuum of Care (CoC) on Homelessness developed the Homeless Special Projects Fund. The purpose of the Homeless Special Projects Fund is to provide support to the efforts on Nonprofits that service those homeless or at-risk of being homeless. Services could include housing assistance, utility assistance, mattresses, transportation, and any other services that directly impact the homeless. Funds are also provided to support Homeless Events such as Project Homeless Connect and Homeless Stand Downs.
If you or your organization would like to help improve the quality of life for individuals and families who are struggling to end their homeless situation, please donate to the Homeless Special Projects Fund. Monetary donations are tax deductible. The CoC has partnered with Cumberland Community Foundation, Inc. to help manage the fund.
